Battery and AC Power Instructions
The battery compartment is located at the back of the camera. Make sure the camera is steady and take care not to drop batteries as such impacts could reduce their ability to charge fully.
Inserting the Battery
Make sure the power switch is set to OFF. Align the battery terminals with the interior compartment, insert straight in and slide down. The battery should click in place.
Removing the battery
Make sure the power switch is set to OFF. Grip the battery whilst you slide the battery release lever. Raise the battery out of the compartment.
Connecting to an AC Outlet
The Canon XF200 can be powered by plugging the unit into a wall outlet.
Make sure the power switch is set to OFF
Plug one end of the DC cable to the Battery Charger/AC Adapter and the other end to the camera’s DC IN terminal (located on the right side of the battery compartment)
Plug one end of the AC cable to the Battery Charger/AC Adapter and the other to a wall outlet
Disconnecting the AC from the Camera
Make sure the camera power is switched off. Disconnect the AC from the wall outlet first. Then unplug the DC cable from the camera.
